Right Brain v Left Brain
17/Apr/2008 12:17 AM

THE Right Brain vs Left Brain test ... do you see the dancer turning clockwise or anti-clockwise?
If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa.
Most of you would see the dancer turning anti-clockwise though you can try to focus and change the direction; see if you can do it. The case for me is clockwise came first, then I reversed it.

Agloco - Own the Internet
27/Mar/2007 11:12 AM
There are tons of social networking sites. You might have your own favorite. But Agloco is somewhat different and takes the concept of revenue sharing from Metacafe. It is promising to share the income they get with you. It is not fully functional yet as it is still in Beta (what a surprise), so all you have to do is sign-up for now. I'm guessing the earlier you sign up the better, because once it gets more popular most of your friends will have already signed up. We will see how it turns out in the near future.
Google Personalized Homepage Gets Dynamic Themes [ Edit ]
21/Mar/2007 11:15 AM
Everybody thinks Netvibes.com is better than Google Personalized Homepage, you know, not technically, but visually. I thought I might be able to come up with some kind of a better solution for google, but now it looks like google engineers have done their homework already, and the consequence is pretty satisfying.
What's dynamic about those themes? According to google, for each different theme you select, the top image will change base on your local time or weather condition (but can't get both ATM). If you don't believe me, check it out for yourself. It's fun!
[Edit]
Google Operating System has reported some special easter eggs found in the new themes.
When you go to Google Personalized Homepage at 3:14 am, and you have chosen one of the new themes (except Bus Stop and Classic), you will see something special.
• Seasonal Scape (Winter) - Aurora (northern lights)
• City Scape - some UFOs and Aliens flying around
• Sweet Dreams - Pi Star (ahh, 3:14->3.14->Pi?)
• Tea House - Are those ghosts? Oh, I am feeling cold…

DIESEL Website Hijacked ? [ Update x2 ]
25/Jan/2007 09:18 PM
Check it out, these guys had some how managed to hijack the official DIESEL website, all for 15 Megabytes of fame. And yeah, That was fun! You guys rule!
[ Update ] I'm getting corn-fused right now, as someone on the web says it's actually a campaign by Diesel. Now, what's that all about?
[Update x2 ] The streaming videos should be live, but damn, the connection speed is slow.
Kewl Hunting of the Day - Checking God's Email ( Quoted )
08/Dec/2006 08:21 PM
刚看的,挺逗
"This week's TIME Magazine features an interesting Essay on page 103. Evan Eisenberg checks God's email. If you click the pic above you can see the full-sized image I scanned in, which offers even more insight into God's computing habits. I knew the big guy was a Mac user!
God uses Mail.app, obviously, to stay in touch. He listens to iTunes for inspiration, and keeps Google Earth open to keep an eye on his Creation. Safari is God's browser of choice and he's apparently a football fan (Go Saints!). Looking at the exposed areas of God's desktop we see that he digs George Burns (but Windows Media Player??) and keeps tabs on election results. We're not sure about the rest of God's hardware, but his display is Apple Cinema all the way. What surprises me most is that God uses Quark!
As Erica said, when we got the tip, "This would certainly explain why the demographic skewed 'old' in that survey." Indeed!
Thanks, Keenan!"

Kewl Hunting of the Day - Station 52 & 53
24/Nov/2006 10:18 PM
